$1,000 Reward - Homicide, 1900 Block Stadium Blvd.  

On August 20, 2016, Jefferson City Police Detectives began an investigation into a suspicious death that occurred in a residence in the 1900 block of Stadium Boulevard.  During the course of that investigation, investigators examined the crime scene and found what were believed to be a number of possible causes or circumstances surrounded the death of the victim, and initially it was ruled as a suspicious death.  Once Detectives were able to process the scene and gather some statements, it was determined that the death was in fact a homicide.

Detectives are seeking assistance from the public for help finding the suspect or suspects responsible for the murder of 50 year-old William “Bill” Crawford who was killed at his residence sometime between 8:53 p.m. Friday evening and 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning.  Crawford was killed by a gunshot wound.  Crawford was seen on video leaving Schulte’s on Friday evening and was not seen since.

Police have worked with the Jefferson City Area CrimeStoppers to obtain a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the death of Crawford.  Anyone with information is encouraged to take advantage of this reward and contact CrimeStoppers at 659-TIPS or report online via www.jeffcitycrimestoppers.com.  Citizens may also contact Detective J. The suspect(s) should be considered armed and dangerous. Below is a photo of William “Bill” Crawford.  Anyone who has seen him prior to or during the times in question is encouraged to call.

$500 Reward - April 6th Shooting on East Elm St. 

Jefferson City Police Department officials believe there are individuals in the Jefferson City community who have direct knowledge about the shooting incident in the 500 block of East Elm St. on April 6, 2016, in which a school bus was caught in the crossfire between two groups of individuals that knew one another. To encourage those individuals to come forward and share these details, the Jefferson City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a $500 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) in this case.

  • $250 reward for information leading to arrests and seizures of "active meth labs." Help protect your neighbors, friends and family from the adverse effects methamphetamine and its production have on our community - both the immediate effects of drug dependency and the hazardous waste produced during the manufacturing of meth. 
  • $500 reward for information that leads to an arrest in connection with the disappearance of Jasmine Haslag. She was last seen on June 18, 2007, as she was leaving for Bland, MO to pick up her children. Her vehicle was recovered by Callaway County Sheriff's deputies in a wooded area off Highway 94. Foul play is suspected.
